ENRON the movie
Very entertaining and timely, since their corporate fraud trial is now going on; I'll give Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005) documentary 5 out of 5 stars.

HOUSTON, March 2, 2006 (AP) — The former chief executive of Enron, Jeffrey K. Skilling, told other top executives "they're on to us," after a small analyst firm produced a research note critical of some company transactions, a former executive testified on Thursday.

"Did Mr. Skilling say anything?" the prosecutor, Cliff Stricklin, asked.

"Yes. He said, 'They're on to us,' " Mr. Hannon said. "It seemed to indicate the investment community was beginning to understand how Enron made money."

Mr. Hannon's statements in the last 10 minutes of testimony Thursday were a potentially devastating blow to the defendants. Their lawyers have maintained that Mr. Lay and Mr. Skilling did nothing wrong and there was no fraud at Enron besides the theft of money by Mr. Fastow and two other former executives.

This week Andy Fastow takes the stand against his former partners in crime, what fun it would be to sit in that court room and watch Lay and Skilling squirm.
