I'm usually immune to the food demonstrators at Costco. It's usually overprocessed crap that BLOGDE won't even sample. But they really got to me this week. First it was some French soft wine cheese on some great crackers that I couldn't resist. Then I sampled some of this antipasto, sampled it twice in fact, proceeded to check out, and I had a half dozen items on the belt before I suddenly threw them all back in the cart and careened back to get some of this antipasto. The aftertaste overwhelmed my shopper's resistance. A bowl of antipasto and a nice microbrew: "Heaven, I'm in heaven, and I . . . .".

they look so inviting - my mouth is watering - in fact, I can't look at them because my mouth waters. Kind of like I can't go down the pickle/olive aisle at the grocery store! They are from Napa Valley, just south of Napa and I used to pass by frequently.
